CARASS arranges research courses or training on Arts and Social Sciences areas.  The center may facilitate and build researchers for their capability in research in an effective manner in respected areas. People already in the field will be able to do better.

CARASS  completed a research titled ‘ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে সাংস্কৃতিক কর্মকাণ্ড-: সেকাল-একাল’.  This will be published soon.

CARASS  arranged a seminar  titled “Comparison Policy in Arabic Literature Criticism: A Review” at 12 pm on May 6, 2015.Professor Dr. Muhammad Yusuf (Chairman, Department of Arabic, University of Dhaka) will preside over the seminar and  UGC Post Doctoral Fellow, Dr. Md.Manirozzaman (Assistant Professor, Department of Arabic, University of Rajshahi) will present keynote paper. Besides, Professor Dr. Shaikh Abdus Salam, Director, CARASS will deliver his welcome speech at the seminar.

CARASS  completed a research titled “Jibonjuddhe Nari Muktijuddhara” ( Women freedom fighters and their life struggle)

Another  research titled “Union Information and Service Centers in Rural Bangladesh: A Study on Divide among Peri – urban and Real Rural Centers ” has been conducted under CARASS.

Seminar held at CARASS

A seminar entitled- “English Writings of Micheal Madhusudan Dutt : The Captive Ladie ’’ was held at Center for Advanced Research in Arts and Social Sciences (CARASS) on August 19, 2014.

Emeritus Professor Dr. Anisuzzaman presided over the seminar and UGC Post Doctoral Fellow, Dr. Ferdushi Khatun presented keynote paper. Professor Dr. Shaikh Abdus Salam, Director, CARASS delivered his welcome speech.

Professor Dr. Rofiqullah Khan and Dr. Mohammed Azam of Bangla Department of Dhaka University discussed as the paper designated discussants.

Professor Syed Md. Shahed, Sohana Mahboob, Momenur Rasul, Dulal Kanti Bhoumik and Kazal Krishna Banerjee took part in the open discussion.
